Introduction
Estilla Vanó is a Hungarian and English-language instructor who combines language teaching with a deep appreciation for literature, culture, and the human dimension of education. She believes that language learning is not only about acquiring knowledge but also about shaping the way we think, fostering self-awareness, broadening cultural understanding and encouraging openness towards others.
Since joining BUEB in 2016, she has been committed to supporting students both academically and personally. Alongside her teaching, she places particular emphasis on helping students strengthen their language skills and overcome learning challenges, with the aim of reducing the risk of academic dropout and enabling every learner to reach their full potential.
Drawing on many years of experience in both secondary and higher education, she remains dedicated to continuous professional development and high-quality teaching. Her educational philosophy is reflected in the words of Rezső Kunfalvi:
“There are two things a teacher can truly love: their students and their subject. If you have both, there is nothing more to wish for.”
