Introduction
Eszter Réti-Németh is a Spanish language lecturer, an applied linguist, a specialised translator and an interpreter. With more than twenty years of experience in higher education and language teaching, she brings together her expertise in language teaching, applied linguistics, translation and interpreting in her academic work. Her teaching is characterised by a student-centred, practice-oriented approach, with a strong emphasis on helping students use Spanish confidently and authentically in real-life communication.
Her main professional interests include language teaching methodology, Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP), digital education, and the application of artificial intelligence in language teaching. She continuously enriches her teaching through professional development, international collaboration and the development of teaching materials, ensuring that her students acquire up-to-date knowledge and skills that can be readily applied in professional contexts.
She believes that language learning is not only about acquiring knowledge but also about building bridges between cultures. Her aim is to help students become not only confident language users but also open-minded and culturally aware communicators who can engage successfully across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
