Introduction

Dr Éva Csák Nagyné has been teaching German for Tourism and Business for more than three decades at the predecessor institutions of BUEB and at Budapest University of Economics and Business. Her teaching is characterised by a strong emphasis on practical language use, professional communication and an international outlook.

Alongside her teaching, she has participated in numerous international scholarships, professional development programmes and academic collaborations, while also working regularly as an interpreter at Hungarian and international professional events. She believes that international professional experience and collaboration should be an integral part of language education, helping students develop the confidence and intercultural awareness needed to communicate effectively in international professional environments.

Throughout her career, she has established and maintained extensive professional relationships with higher education institutions both in Hungary and abroad, and remains committed to strengthening the international dimension of language education.
