Introduction

I hold the position of BUEB’ Director of Finance as of August 1, 2022.
I started my professional career at my Alma Mater in Szolnok, where I worked as a Controller, Head of the Controlling Department and then Deputy Director-General of Finance until 2013. In addition to my full-time position, for three years I also held the position of company manager of Merkating Tanácsadó Kft., which was founded by the Institution. For almost two years I was the Head of the Economic and Technical Department of Faculty of Commerce, Hospitality & Tourism of the former Budapest College of Economics, and then became the Finance Manager of the Municipality of Abony. From 2016 until I was asked to serve in my current position here at BUEB, I was the Finance Director of the University of Óbuda. My career has been primarily related to higher education and as a result, I am well acquainted with its systems and peculiarities. During my career, I co-ordinated and managed the economic, operational, (public) procurement, wage and labor, and controlling activities of several institutions. I have participated in many domestic, EU and foreign tenders as a project or financial manager. I basically believe in a complex approach and an innovative way of thinking, and my relationships are characterised by a good collegial spirit. I have been a member of the Association of Higher Education Economics Professionals since 2006, and since 2019 I have been working as an external expert in the Finance, Budget and Public Procurement Committee of the Municipality of Szolnok.
