Introduction
Dr Zsuzsanna Borbála Kalafatics has been teaching at BUEB since 2013, following earlier appointments at the Faculty of Teacher Training and the Faculty of Humanities of Eötvös Loránd University. Her teaching focuses on the Russian language, literature and culture, as well as Slavic Studies.
Alongside her teaching, she is actively engaged in research closely related to the subjects she teaches, enabling her to bring current scholarly perspectives into the classroom. She has published extensively in linguistics and literary studies and has contributed to the development of Russian language textbooks and university teaching materials.
She regularly presents her research at Hungarian and international conferences, maintains active professional collaborations with researchers abroad, and contributes to the academic community through editorial and peer-review work, as well as through her involvement in professional organisations.
