Introduction

She graduated at Eötvös Loránd University, majoring in English and German language and literature, at Miskolc University as economist and at Corvinus University as sociologist-economist. She received her PhD (summa cum laude) at ELTE with a dissertation in English. She participated in several social and educational research projects and curriculum development. She gave lectures at various universities in Europe. She is a public body member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and regularly reviews conference presentations, academic journals and doctoral defenses. She is a regular reviewer of conference presentations, professional journals and doctoral dissertations. She has served as a jury member for various sections of the National Scientific Students’ Conference (OTDK), her TDK students received outstanding results.
Her research and teaching focus on the intersections of communication, business communication, and intercultural communication. She is particularly interested in communication processes in various professional contexts and their impact on students' learning experiences, as well as their social and professional development. Her work emphasizes practical applicability and a multidisciplinary approach to ensure that research findings are relevant and can be effectively applied. One of her key goals is to contribute to solving the communication and educational challenges of the 21st century.
As an open, accessible and supportive international leader, she applies intercultural communication principles in her international collaborations. She is convinced that understanding different cultural backgrounds and perspectives is essential for successful international partnerships. For her, intercultural communication goes beyond overcoming language barriers, it rather encourages empathetic and respectful dialogue. Her mission is to strengthen BGE’s global presence and support international opportunities for students, professors and faculty members.
