Introduction

My name is Dr. Harshavardhan Reddy Kummitha, a senior researcher from Budapest University of Economics and Business in Hungary. My specialized in Research on (Social) Entrepreneurship, community development with reference to ecotourism based organizations is at the core of my academic career. My doctoral research analyzed the implication of ecotourism on achieving sustainable development. My research further explored ways in which ecotourism based organizations help communities advance their livelihoods. I have been awarded my doctoral degree on this subject in June 2019, whereas I was awarded a postgraduate degree in Tourism Studies from Pondicherry University in India in 2013. Before pursuing my doctoral degree, I worked with some of the tourism Ltd companies like Thomas Cook and Orbitz tours as a consultant in India. I have been working on various research publications since completion of my doctoral degree. I have so far published articles in well know journals in management and tourism. I have high ambitions to publish papers related to tourism and hospitality journals. Currently I am working on some article related to “tourism and smart destinations, over tourism”, revisiting factors of Lake tourism, tourism and infrastructure development . I believe over the years, there will be ample opportunities to enhance my research potential and publish in high end management and tourism studies journals. I have an extensive background in teaching, Bachelor and Masters students. The courses I taught include destination marketing, organizational behavior, Wine tourism, tourism management, Ecotourism, tourism and protected areas and sustainable entrepreneur’s business.
