Introduction

I completed my undergraduate studies at the College of Finance and Accountancy (now BBU FFA), followed by an MSc and PhD at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pécs. During my higher education career, I worked at the College of Finance and Accountancy Institute of Zalaegerszeg, Kodolányi János University as Head of Department, Budapest Metropolitan University as Head of the Institute of Tourism and Economics.
I have been involved in several professional and research projects, including the study and database of Hungarian ski and winter sports, ski slopes and four-seasonalization on behalf of the Hungarian Tourism Agency, and the study of the financing of spa services in Hungarian spas. I participated as an expert and lead planner in the preparation of the development concept for cultural and heritage tourism of the National Limes Route of the Danube Region in the planning area Érd - Százhalombatta - Szigetújfalu - Ráckeve on behalf of the Hungarian Limes Association. On behalf of the MTÜ I contributed to the preparation of the Health Tourism Destinations Brand Positioning - The "Alföld SPA" product development concept for health tourism products, the comprehensive evaluation of tourism destination management organisations (TDM) in Hungary and the preparation of accessible tourism e-learning curricula. I have participated in the preparation of integrated urban development strategies for several cities, and worked in the urban development corporations of the cities of Dabas, Biatorbágy and Kunszentmiklós in the implementation of urban development projects. I was project manager for the extension of the Corvinus University campus in Székesfehérvár and other EU-funded projects.

  • My research interests are tourism economics, consumer behaviour in tourism, machine learning and artificial intelligence in natural language processing.
