Although it's a little further from the city centre, it's only about 10–15 minutes by public transport from Kelenföld Railway Station, making it an easy trip. If you're looking for great food, coffee, desserts, or drinks, head to Móricz Zsigmond Square. This lively area is especially popular among university students thanks to its wide variety of cafés, restaurants, and bars.

·        🍕 Amore di Napoli – If you're craving authentic Neapolitan pizza, this is one of the city's top choices.

Whether you're meeting classmates after lectures or looking for a weekend dinner spot, Móricz is always a great option.

No visit to Budapest is complete without seeing the city from Citadella. Sitting on top of Gellért Hill, this iconic viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Danube, the Parliament, Buda Castle, and the city's famous bridges.

The Citadella grounds, Freedom Statue, inner park, walking paths, and the new panoramic viewpoints can all be visited free of charge during opening hours. If you'd like an even more immersive experience, you can also purchase a ticket to visit The Bastion of Freedom historical exhibition, the 360° Rooftop Garden, and the Rondella Terrace, which offer additional exhibitions and spectacular views. Tickets are available online in advance or on-site, subject to availability.

It's particularly magical at sunset or after dark, when Budapest lights up and truly earns its nickname as one of Europe's most beautiful capitals.

The Buda Castle District is one of Budapest's most historic and picturesque neighbourhoods. The best part? Exploring its charming streets, medieval buildings, and beautiful viewpoints is completely free if you enjoy walking uphill.

While there is an entrance fee to access the upper terraces of Fisherman's Bastion, you don't have to buy a ticket to enjoy the area. Right next to it stands the magnificent Matthias Church, and the surrounding squares already offer incredible views over the city.

Take your time wandering through the cobbled streets – you'll discover hidden courtyards, cosy cafés, and some of Budapest's most photogenic corners.

Looking for the iconic Budapest photo? Make your way to Batthyány Square.

From the tram stop along the Danube, you'll enjoy one of the most spectacular views of the Hungarian Parliament Building across the river. There's even a bench facing directly towards the Parliament, making it one of the city's favourite spots for photos – especially at sunrise, sunset, or after dark when the building is beautifully illuminated.
