Nexon Scholarship

Purpose of the Call for Applications:

The purpose of the call is to encourage students of the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy (FFA), both undergraduate and postgraduate, to engage in scientific research through the activities of the Student Research Societies (TDK).

Possible topics include:

·        AI and ChatGPT in the HR core and administrative processes;

·        The competency portfolio required for effective use of Chat GPT and AI and the need of its development;

·        analysis of the short- and medium-term impacts of AI OR data protection challenges associated with its usage in organisations;

·        usage and/or development opportunities of AI to solve a certain task OR examination of AI’s effects in a certain generation / in multiple generations;

·        profit optimization opportunities in a specific industry sector;

·        analysis of the causes and consequences of online shopping addiction;

·        the role and application of digital learning support tools/systems in higher education.

Total Budget:  300,000 HUF

Evaluation of Applications:

Applications will be evaluated and ranked by a faculty evaluation committee appointed by the Dean, in accordance with §151 of the BGE (Budapest University of Economics and Business) Student Requirements System. The final decision on awarding the scholarship is made by the Dean. The evaluation criteria are jointly determined by BGE and NEXON.

Eligible Applicants: Undergraduate and graduate students of BGE Faculty of Finance and Accountancy

Number of Applications Supported: Maximum of 3 individuals

Maximum grant per Applicant: 150.000 HUF
