2/2!

After our men's team, the women's team of BGE also advanced in the university handball championship after overcoming the 4-goal deficit accumulated in the first match in the home rematch.

Summary: BBU-SE: 57-56

1. match: SE-BBU: 33-29 (17-20)

2. match: BBU-SE: 28-23 (15-8)

The first goal of the match was scored by Semmelweis, however, with the performance of Kata Lukács (BGE) over 50% and the goals of Marik Dalma (BGE), BGE gradually pulled away from the visiting team. By halftime, there was already a 7-goal difference, but progress was not decided at all. At the beginning of the second half, led by Ingrid Gravdal (SE), the team of Semmelweis University caught up to 4 goals, so there was a prospect of an exciting final game. The last 10 minutes started with an 8-goal BGE advantage, but the missed chances in a row took their revenge and SE, who were figthing hard, closed to a 5-goal difference 1 minute before the end. At the end, however, the 5 goals remained, with which BGE proved to be better by 1 goal overall (57-56) and advanced!

Congratulation for the Semmelweis University!

The men's dueling team will be there at the Olympics!

Not long ago, a World Cup round was held in Heidenheim for our men's fencers, who, in addition to winning the competition, also won the Olympic quota for the summer competition in Paris. Our student, Tibor Andrásfi, was also a member of the four-man team, who helped the team with his play in important matches.

The triathletes competed in New Zealand

Competitions are held in many sports during this period, including the triathletes who have to compete in the world championship series. BBU's Márta Kropkó was also a member of the mixed relay competing in Napier, who finished in a respectable sixth place. With this result, they currently occupy 12th place in the Olympic ranking and still have a chance to be Olympic participants.
