By the summer of 2024, the COMMITTED (COMpliance of acadeMIc acTiviTies with forEign trade) project developed and edited a Manual which is available for anyone to view on the project website.
COMMITTED is one of BBU’s international ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnerships programmes, founded by the Erasmus Agency. The project involves five universities (besides BBU, Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences - Germany, Hanze University of Applied Sciences - The Netherlands, Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology - Finland, Moravian Business College Olomouc - Czech Republic) and one organisation being a professional advisor (Hungarian Association of Logistics, Purchasing, and Inventory Management - Budapest). The development of the Manual is supposed to provide academic workers and SME entrepreneurs a deep understanding of the world of Deemed Export, i.e. the international regulations and procedures that can protect European research results, intellectual property or other sensitive information from security breaches.
