Introduction

I have been working at BUEB FFA since 2003, however this period was interrupted by two extended stays in German speaking countries. During these years I gained extensive experience in event management, the organisation and operation of exhibitions and fairs, and I was also exposure to a variety of German corporate cultures and experienced some intercultural differences in the German-Hungarian relations in business, business etiquette and protocol. I try to share these practical experiences with my students in a practice-oriented way, so that they can start their careers in business well prepared. In addition to the German language courses, my two skills development courses - Business Communication and Skills Development and Intercultural Communication (in German) - provide students with a good opportunity to acquire the skills needed and expected to start a successful career in the 21st century labour market.
