Introduction

Zoltán Pollák graduated from the Corvinus University of Budapest with a Master's degree in Finance and then received his PhD summa cum laude from the Department of Finance. He has taught at Corvinus University for more than ten years, including Statistics, Corporate finance, Financial calculations and Financial risk management courses. He is the program director of the CEFA (Certified European Financial Analyst) and EIP (European Investment Practitioner) courses at Bankárképző (Institute for Training and Consulting in Banking Ltd.). Since March 2018, he has been a member of the EFPA (European Financial Planning Association) Standards and Qualifications Committee and since 2021, of the PRMIA (Professional Risk Managers' International Association) Steering Committee. He joined Budapest University of Economics and Business in autumn 2022.
