Introduction

Habilitated in Health Sciences in 2024; the title of his dissertation is “Bereavement support in the hospital ward and during the period after ward care” (93%). In 2014, he obtained an interdisciplinary PhD degree (cum laude) with a dissertation on the study of experiences of trauma, absence, and loss. His research field is behavioral science, more specifically thanatology and social psychology. He is a regular expert contributor to numerous television programs and major online media outlets. Professional recognitions: 2024: Magyar Arany Érdemkereszt; 2021: Batthyhány-Strattmann László Award; 2017 and 2019: Research scholarship within the “Young Talents of the Nation” scholarship program; 2018: Egészséghős Díj; 2007: Discipuli Pro Universitate díj.; He is a member of the editorial board of Kharón Thanatology Review, a public body member of the Scientific Committee on Psychology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and a full member of the Hungarian Psychiatric Association.
