Introduction

He obtained a degree in economics in 2007, specializing in business and management, a PhD in business and organizational sciences in 2011, and a habilitation in business and management sciences in 2021. Since 2011, he has been a research fellow at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the Budapest University of Economics and Business, then a senior research fellow since 2017, and head of the Research Office since 2023. Since 2025, he has been a member and head of the newly formed Department of Process Management at the Faculty of Management. He is a member of the Public Body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and secretary of the Subcommittee on Human Resource Management of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' IX. Department.
In recognition of his scientific work, he received the Pro Scientia Gold Medal in 2007, the Hungarian Patent Office's award of distinction in the same year, the István Harsányi Scholarship from the Hungarian Innovation Association in 2008, the BGE Scientific Award in 2014, 2016, and 2018, the Publication Quality Award of the MTA Committee on Management Sciences, Subcommittee on Industrial and Business Economics in 2018, and the Publication Quality Award of the MTA Committee on Management Sciences and the Emerald Publishing Highly Commended Paper Award in 2018, 2023, 2024, and 2025, he received the Publication Award from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Committee on Management Sciences and the Emerald Publishing Highly Commended Paper Award.
Since 2017, he has been a visiting lecturer at Babes Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, and since 2018, at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Colombia.
