Introduction

Hospitality has been an integral part of my life since the age of eight; one could say that I quite literally grew up in the profession, as I actively participated in the operation of our family’s hospitality businesses. I currently teach at both BA and MA levels, delivering courses in management, practical hospitality skills, and pedagogy related to professional education. I am also a doctoral candidate at the Doctoral School of Food Science at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, where my research focuses on craft beer. More specifically, my dissertation examines “The effect of hops on the microbiological stability and antioxidant capacity of beer.” Talent development plays a central role in my teaching activity. I regularly support my students in realizing their potential, whether through preparing for hospitality-related professional competitions or mentoring them in undergraduate research projects such as TDK (Students’ Scientific Research Conference).
