Introduction

Krisztina Bacsi is a senior lecturer at the Department of Tourism and Hospitality. She earned her degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from the College of Commerce, Catering and Tourism in 1997. Until 2015, she held various positions in central sales at Danubius Hotels Group, focusing on event planning, leisure tourism and medical spa services. From 2008, she served as Central Sales Director, a role that also included providing sales support for Danubius’s international hotels. In 2012, she obtained a degree in Business Coaching.
Between 2015 and 2020, as Secretary General of the Association of Hungarian Event Organizers and Service Providers, she was deeply passionate not only about professional advocacy but also about teaching event management at the continuing education level. Since 2020, she is working as the Head of Education at the Hungarian Tourism Academy adult education center, as well as a trainer for event sales and proactive sales workshops.
As an Innermetrix personality diagnostics consultant, business and career coach, her core focus is measurement-based individual talent diagnostics and the tailored development processes built upon them—helping tourism professionals discover the ideal roles or career paths that keep them thriving in this wonderful industry. Beside teaching, coaching, and executive duties, her hobbies include traveling and reading. She lives in Budapest with her husband and daughter, though thanks to her husband, they also consider Lake Balaton their second home.
