In 2022, I joined the former Department of Tourism. In many respects, this represented a return to my alma mater, as I obtained my degree in Tourism and Hotel Management here in 2005, the same year in which I also graduated in Sociology from Eötvös Loránd University. Already during my studies, it became clear to me that I wished to pursue a professional career in tourism. In January 2005, I joined Magyar Turizmus Zrt. as a research intern. Following the completion of my internship at the national tourism marketing organisation, I was immediately offered a permanent position as a communications officer, which was later followed by roles as regional manager and product manager. Alongside my professional work, I also taught in tourism-related vocational training programmes at EFEB Adult Education Centre and Klasszis Education during weekends. In 2014, motivated by a growing interest in sustainability, I began volunteering at the Heroes for Responsible Dining Foundation, where I have since remained involved in various capacities, both as a volunteer and as a project collaborator. My most significant achievement within the foundation has been the development of an educational programme designed for children. My commitment to teaching led me in 2018 to enrol in doctoral studies at Corvinus University of Budapest. My research focused on the influence of social norms on environmentally conscious tourism consumer behaviour, and I obtained my PhD degree in January 2025. For me, establishing constructive cooperation and positive relationships with both colleagues and students is of particular importance. I am also pleased to contribute to the organisation of academic competitions and to undertake supervisory and advisory roles for students.
