Introduction

Education: I have been teaching business ethics since 2004, practically continuously. The Responsible and Sustainable Business course, which we first taught at the university in the spring of 2019, takes a more holistic approach, discussing business ethics and sustainability more broadly and in greater depth. In 2025, my colleagues and I developed a new course entitled Sustainable and Responsible Management, taking into account the experience gained from previous courses, on the basis of which, for example, we supplemented the corporate approach with a strong foundation in natural sciences. In addition to lectures, we also meet with students every week in seminars, which allows us to use a number of new teaching methods. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basic concepts and models of sustainability and responsible business operations in environmental, social, and economic dimensions, to enable them to critically evaluate and systematize them, and to enable them to participate in the planning and implementation of sustainability programs. A key objective is to learn the ESG approach. I have had TDK students since 2018, and I really enjoy working with them.

Research: From June 2021 to August 2025, I led one of the university's research centers, the Center of Excellence for the Economic and Social Impacts of Sustainability (CESIBUS). My main research topics are sustainability education and the sustainability of SMEs. I have been a member of the research group on entrepreneurs with disabilities since 2018, and from 2023 I will be working on an OTKA project on circularity in the fashion industry. From August 1, 2025, I will be working as the academic head of the Faculty of International Business, so in addition to my own research, I will continue to support the academic activities of my colleagues.

Projects: In addition to the above research, I am also involved in several grant projects at the university, currently in the DEDYCATING program, where we are developing the potential uses of artificial intelligence in sustainability education. We have been using the results of the ISSUE and INTEREST projects in education for years.
