What Can You Study at BUEB?


At BUEB all of the following programmes are delivered fully in English and follow the academic standards of a Hungarian public university with strong industry connections. 

Bachelor’s Degree Programmes (BSc)


International applicants can choose from the following English-taught Bachelor’s programmes: 

  • Business Administration and Management – BSc 
  • Commerce and Marketing – BSc 
  • Communication and Media Studies – BSc 
  • Finance and Accounting – BSc 
  • International Business Economics – BSc 
  • Tourism and Catering – BSc 

Bachelor’s programmes typically last 3 to 4 years and provide a solid foundation in business, economics and management, preparing graduates either for the labour market or for further studies at Master’s level.

Master’s Degree Programmes (MSc)


For applicants who already hold a Bachelor’s degree, BUEB offers the following English-taught Master’s programmes: 

  • International Economy and Business – MSc 
  • Marketing – MSc 
  • Tourism Management – MSc 

Master’s programmes usually last 2 years and focus on advanced professional knowledge, analytical skills and career development in specialised fields.

Application Deadlines and Early Bird Opportunity


International applicants are required to observe the following application and payment deadlines: 

  • PhD application deadline: 15 April 
  • Early Bird payment deadline: 30 April 
    (Applicants who pay the required tuition fee by this date receive a 10% discount from the first year’s tuition fee!) 
  • Final application deadline for non-EU applicants: 31 May 
  • Final application deadline for EU applicants: 15 June 

Due to visa procedures, non-EU applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible.
