Social Entrepreneurship Incubation Program Application

Wondering how economic and social goals can find each other? Do you want to participate in the work of an international student team? Do you want to work with social enterprises? 

If so, apply for the Social Entrepreneurship Incubation Program (SEIP) of Budapest LAB! 


What is the program about? 

In the 10-week online program, university students from different countries work together in mixed groups, to develop social enterprises in different parts of the world. During the 10 weeks, participants will take part in workshops, receive group mentoring from lecturers from the supporting universities, while developing a specific social enterprise with their acquired expertise. 

In addition to BBS students, students from 

  • Tallinn University (Estonia), 
  • University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Netherlands), 
  • The Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania) and 
  • ELTE Bárczi Gusztáv (Hungary) will also participate. 


How long does it take and what do I get for it? 

Participation requires a minimum of 3 hours per week and if you successfully complete the program, you will receive 2 credits for your volunteer work. 


I have never heard about social enterprises in my life, can I apply anyway? 

Yes, the program is about to hearing about them and gaining experience working together with them. 


When does the 10 weeks start? 

In March. 


How can I apply? 

Fill out the application form available below by the end of the registration period at the latest!  

We can accept the first 20 applications, and 5 people from BBS can enter the program this semester, who will be selected by the Budapest LAB team based on the application forms. Therefore, you should think carefully through your answers and take the time to complete the application form.
