Second ENVISAGE Day: European University Alliance Meeting in Krakow
# Homepage

The 2nd annual meeting of the ENVISAGE European University Alliance partners took place in Krakow on 19-21 June 2024, hosted by Krakow University of Economics (KUE), the leader of the consortium. The partners discussed various issues related to the operation of the alliance and agreed in further multilateral projects.

Following the Rectors' Meeting in Budapest at the end of May 2023, the ENVISAGE Alliance partners met again in person in Krakow. The meetings started with short partner presentations, with the focus on getting to know the newly joined Serbian and Albanian partners. Following a recap of the 2024 application, for which the results are expected to be announced during the summer, the main substantive work packages (education, research, innovation, service to society) and the key areas of the Sustainable Transition, the main theme of the project, were reviewed.

The lead partners of the work packages reported on the main achievements of the past months in the areas of educational harmonisation, sustainability-related activities, and equal opportunities. Following a tour of the KUE campus, the discussions focused on the possibilities for deepening cooperation between the partners, including joint research, educational collaborations, and further joint projects.

BBU was represented by Dr. Gábor Andrási, Director of International Affairs, and Mr. László Varga, Head of the International Project Office. The discussions will continue online in August, after the result of the submitted proposal will be available.
