Budapest Business School University Student Union (EHÖK)

A bridge between the university and students in everyday life. Advocacy and creating the right conditions to create a liveable university for everyone.

Our vision is to create an organization that can provide help and support to faculty-student governments in all areas. In addition, establishing a long-term and mutual good relationship with the university, in which the focus is on mutual assistance and joint problem-solving.

Our job is to represent the interests of students, make their daily lives easier, answer their questions, and provide information about the university and higher education.

We represent more than 18,000 students, which is a huge responsibility for all of us, which is why we work with a Cabinet team.

BBU SU Presidential Election

Dear Fellow Student!

Budapest Business School Students’ Union’s (hereinafter: BBS SU) Election Committee invites applications for its Presidential position according to attachment no. 10 of the the Statutes of Budapest Business School Students’ Union (hereinafter: Statutes) Paragraph 22. (The Election Committee was elected by BBS SU’s Board on the 6th of October with the Regulation no. 4., 5., 6., of the 2023/2024 academic year.)

According to the Statutes, a candidate for President may be one who “has an active student status with the University at the time of the election and has submitted a valid application for the position by the date specified in the call for applications, which includes his / her ideas for the term of office. The existence of an active student status must be proved by a valid student status certificate issued by the Academic Registrar’s Office”

In addition: „ as long as at the time of his election, the President of the BBS SU is the president of a sub-government or has a civil servant relationship, employment relationship or other employment relationship with the University, he shall terminate them within thirty (30) days of his election.”

Application period: from 27th of November 2023 12:00 to 12nd of December 2023 23:59

Application documents are the following: Application statement, Active students status certificate for the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year (not older than 30 days), ideas for the term.

Assignment time: 1st of February 2023 – 31st of January 2024 or according to the Paragraph 5 of the Statutes.

Planned time of the presidential election: 15th of December 2023. 15:00

Planned place of the presidential election: 1055 Budapest, Markó Street 29-31 – Lotz Hall

We are not able to accept incomplete and overdue applications, there is no shortage.
