Blood donation

As part of the Higher Education Blood Weeks, it is also possible to donate blood this semester at the Budapest Business University, organized by the Sports Office.

Why give blood?

• because even one occasion can save up to three lives
• because it is also good for your body
• because you can do a lot for a social cause just by investing your time

What is very important to know before donating blood:

• A minimum body weight of 50 kg and the age of 18 are required to donate blood.
• An identity card (residential address card) and the TAJ card are required for registration!
• Eat before and drink plenty of fluids!
• Taking medication in itself is not an exclusionary reason, the on-site doctor is responsible for deciding on this (depending on the medication and illness).

May 8, 2024 (Wednesday) 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m

On the spot, the staff of the Sports Office will prepare refreshments and a little surprise for you!
