The Vice Rector for Academic Development is responsible for the development of the human aspects of our educational system, in particular for the development of the academic staff in terms of teaching methodology, the management of the evaluation system, quality measurements, the system of academic requirements, and the student mentorship programme. The position supervises the functioning of the student councils and student voluntary groups, and also ensures the scientific professional supervision of the work of the various Students' Academic Societies and of the Student Research Societies Council.
The Vice Rector for Academic Development directs the university's innovation activity, ensures the development of programs to encourage an innovation-centric approach and student entrepreneurship, promotes the University's participation in professional associations and action programs, and also establishes and develops collaborations with the government, corporate actors, and domestic and international organizations. The position supervises the preparation and implementation of the University's sustainability and equal opportunity plans, and also ensures the display of content related to the duties of the Vice Rector on the university website.
