Dual Education is a great option for a student, but it also comes with more responsibilities, because in addition to studying as a full-time student, participants in a Dual Education programme also complete a regular internship at a company as a “student-employee”. This means however, that they will already have amassed a significant amount of work experience by the end of their programme.
This dual form of education has been available at the Budapest Business School since 2014.
Administration with respect to Dual Education
• Applying for dual education starts by selecting a partner organisation from the list of dual education locations. If you succeed in being recruited by the company you selected, the partner will sign a contract with you. An agreement between the dual partner organisation, the University, and you, is a pre-requisite for entering the University’s dual system.
• At the end of each semester, you must prepare a project work that will be evaluated by your corporate mentor and University professional co-ordinator. You also have the opportunity to evaluate the partner company, thereby contributing to the overall development of the programme.
