You can apply for a student card after your first enrolment, as applicants who do not have a student status with the University cannot apply for a student card.
You can apply for a new card as described below.
Apply for a permanent student card:
- Apply for a National Unified Card Scheme Identifier (NEK identifier) at any Government Office!
- Keep the completed NEK form for 5 years!
- The personal and address details on the NEK form you receive at the Government Office must match the details in Neptun.
- If you find a discrepancy, please report it to the Faculty Student Services.
- After enrolment, you need to start the student card application in Neptun under the Administration/Student card application menu.
- The University will then start the process of creating a student ID card.
- The Education Authority will send the completed student ID to the Institution, which will be notified by the Student Services in a Neptun message.
- You can pick up your ID card in person at the Student Services.
Apply for a temporary student card:
After you have applied for a permanent student ID card, you can request a temporary student ID card from the Faculty Student Services.
This is valid for the period until the permanent card is issued.
