You can apply for a student card after your first enrolment, as applicants who do not have a student status with the University cannot apply for a student card.
You can apply for a new card as described below.
Apply for a permanent student card:
- Apply for a National Unified Card Scheme Identifier (NEK identifier) at any Government Office!
- If your personal data has not changed, your NEK data sheet remains valid for five years
- The personal and address details on the NEK form you receive at the Government Office must match the details in Neptun.
- If you find a discrepancy in the Neptun, please report it to the Faculty Student Services.
- After enrolment, you need to start the student card application in Neptun under the Administration/Student card request menu.
- The University will then start the process of creating a student ID card.
- The Education Authority will send the completed student ID card to our University. Once it arrives, Student Services will notify you via Neptun message.
- You can collect your student ID during opening hours after you have received our message
Apply for a temporary student card:
After applying for your permanent student ID card, you may request a temporary student ID card at your Student Services Office.
The temporary student ID card is valid for 60 days and can be renewed multiple times until your permanent student ID card is issued.
