Teaching assistants have primarily research/science responsibilities, however, their activities may include teaching support in part, e.g., search for and to a certain extent process scientific sources, data and case studies suitable for updating course materials (e.g., enter and summarise the data in Excel sheets, prepare abstracts).
At the end of the given period, teacher assistants are required to prepare a report on their activities and participation in the research/science work.
It is an advantage if students join an ongoing research at the relevant faculty, but the results of their activities as teacher assistants can be clearly demonstrated at the end of the relevant period.
Students are required to submit an application presenting any research/science activities they may have had until submission, detailing the opportunity for joining the faculty/area they submit their applications to.
We are seeking applications from students who:
• are highly interested in and have outstanding knowledge of the given area, and can undertake to take on teaching assistant responsibilities while continuing to pursue their studies at the same standards,
• have at least good (4) grades,
• completed the subjects at the faculty they submit their applications to in a time proportionate manner and without exam retakes.
• Teaching assistants are selected based on the applicants’ grades (adjusted credit index to date) and professional progress, and the proposal of the organisational units.
Teaching assistants’ tasks are determined by the head of the relevant organisational unit.
