EBSCO - Academic Search Complete

Designed for academic institutions, this database is a leading resource for scholarly research. It supports high-level research in the key areas of academic study by providing journals, periodicals, reports, books and more.



Emeraldinsight – Emerald Premier

Specialist journals and books published in English primarily from the fields of economics and business, supplementing marketing case studies. In addition to the journals and case studies, 50 e-books can be accessed from the database; these can also be searched via the library catalogue. 



Emerald Emerging Market Case Studies (EEMCS)

Teaching cases offer students the opportunity to explore real world challenges in the classroom environment, allowing them to test their assumptions and decision-making skills before taking their knowledge into the workplace. 100% of cases accepted by Emerald into Emerging Markets Case Studies (EMCS) or The CASE Journal (TCJ) have teaching notes, which are rigorously reviewed to ensure their learning objectives facilitate dynamic classroom discussion and help faculty plan how best to use the case.

The international economics-finance database with several thousand case studies, industry reports and corporate analyses. In addition, it offers a press review spanning 30,000 daily news reports, statistics and company information on more than 500,000 corporations.



Gale Infotrac - Business Collection

GALE database contains nearly 4000 corporate and other publications primarily from the fields of accounting, economics, finance and marketing, in addition to 11 reference volumes and encyclopaedias from a broad spectrum of business.

 



Jstor – Business & Economics (Archive Collection)

Articles from journals covering several areas of science but primarily the social sciences can be accessed in this full-text database. The database supplies archive content, meaning the most recent articles will be from 2018, but more recent ones from open access works can also be downloaded.




ProQuest Central

ProQuest Central brings together many of our most used databases to create the most comprehensive, diverse, and relevant multidisciplinary research database available. It provides access to databases across all major subject areas, including business, health and medical, social sciences, arts and humanities, education, science and technology, and religion. The collection includes thousands of full-text scholarly journals, newspapers, magazines, dissertations, working papers, and market reports all together on a powerful, user-friendly platform.

In addition, novice and experienced researchers benefit from robust information management and workflow tools and functionality integrated into the platform, including the ability to cite results in numerous citation styles, save as a PDF or other document formats, save searches, and export documents to reference management tools like RefWorks.


ScienceDirect journals

The database of publisher Elsevier spanning all scientific fields contains 16 million articles from 2500 specialist journals. The site contains only scientific publications, mainly in English.



Scopus

One of the most comprehensive bibliographical databases in the world, used primarily for citation searches. Its content covers all areas of science.



SpringerLink

SpringerLink is a full-text journal and e-book package covering over 2,450 scholarly titles in the following fields: architecture and design, biomedical and life sciences, business and economics, chemistry and materials science, computer science, earth and environmental science, engineering, humanities, psychology/behavioral science, social sciences and law, mathematics and statistics, medicine, and physics and astronomy.

E-books are available in the areas of Biomedical and Life Science (2013), Chemistry and Materials Science (2005-2013), Mathematics and Computer Science (2005-present), and Psychology/Behavioral Science (2013).

The Advanced Search feature allows searching across the entire database by author, title, or text keyword. The Rutgers Libraries subscription also includes the full-text of titles formerly published by Kluwer Academic Publishers. Individual journal or book titles may also be accessed through the .

Database including statistics, short summaries and pictures that can be used to draft country reports.



DART-Europe - E-theses Portal

DART-Europe is a partnership of research libraries and library consortia who are working together to improve global access to European research theses. DART-Europe is endorsed by LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche), and it is the European Working Group of the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD).



The Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB)

The primary aim of DOAB is to increase discoverability of Open Access books. Academic publishers are invited to provide metadata of their Open Access books to DOAB. Metadata will be harvestable in order to maximize dissemination, visibility and impact. Aggregators can integrate the records in their commercial services and libraries can integrate the directory into their online catalogues, helping scholars and students to discover the books. The directory will be open to all publishers who publish academic, peer reviewed books in Open Access and should contain as many books as possible, provided that these publications are in Open Access and meet academic standards.

Europeana

Europe’s largest electronic library that combines the text, audio, visual and video archives of numerous countries. There is an overwhelming preponderance of media content in the database over textual sources.


ECLAS 

Contains bibliographic data on publications related to the European Union in any subject, supplemented by a short summary of the content.



Eurostat

The statistics site of the European Union provides data on Member States, thereby ensuring comparability between individual Member States. It contains, among other subjects, macroeconomic, financial, transport and population statistics.


IMF eLibrary

International Monetary Fund summary studies, country reports and statistical data primarily on developing countries, on general economic topics.
