for students of BBS FCHT studying in BSc/BA and MSc/MA programmes
Steps of submitting the thesis
Students are required to submit their theses in the Moodle system in a pdf format.
IMPORTANT!
Certificates and reports related to the industrial placement (internship) must be uploaded to the Career Platform before the deadline announced. Students who fail to do so will not be allowed to take the final examinations.
Date and time of the final examinations: announced by the department and published in the "Students’ Page" section of the university website.
The departments organise information sessions about the final examinations. The dates are published in the "Students’ Page” section of the university website.
Students’ attention is drawn to the importance of continuous communication with the internal supervisor (not only immediately before the submission deadline)!
Regular and efficient consultation is a precondition for submitting the thesis!
For the submission of the thesis a certificate by the internal supervisor is required confirming that they have consulted about the thesis. Students shall not submit their thesis for defence without the supervisor’s confirmation. The internal supervisor grants the certificate in the Neptun system by approving the student’s previously submitted request for approval of the thesis.
IMPORTANT! The submission of thesis cannot be finallised in the Moodle system without the supervisor’s approval of accepting the thesis.
Students must submit the research plan for the thesis to the internal supervisor before the deadline published on the website of the University.
Students must present their thesis in an at least 90% completion phase to the internal supervisor before the deadline published on the website of the University.
Uploading the thesis in the Moodle system
In the single-point thesis uploading system students are required to upload their thesis only in the Moodle system.
By uploading the thesis in the Moodle system, its plagiarism check is also performed. (For theses in the bachelor and master programmes as well.) Our institution uses the Turnitin system to check theses for plagiarism; students can access it here.
