Call for applications for the “NBH Scholarship of excellence”

Call for applications for the “NBH Scholarship of excellence”
Dear Students,
The Scholarship of Excellence Program supported by the National Bank of Hungary is hereby announced for the 2021/2022 academic year.


Deadline for the submission of applications: 04 October 2021

Supported courses:

  • Bachelor (full-time) courses: Applied Economics, Business Administration and Management, International Business Economics, Finance and Accounting
  • Master (full-time) courses: Insurance and Financial Mathematics, Economic and Financial-Mathematical Analysis (single-cycle programme), Economic Analysis, Economics and Public Policy, Master of Business Administration, International Economy and Business, Finance, Regional and Environmental Economics, Accounting, Business Development, Management and Organization

Regardless of nationality, application for the scholarship is available to students:

  • not awarded the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship,
  • having at least two completed semesters with at least 54 credits obtained in the last two active semesters (derogation from this may be granted, upon request of the higher educational institution, by the Education Department, Directorate for Social Relations of NBH, provided that the student has outstanding academic and scientific results, and the earning of less credits is attributable to equitable reasons, e.g. the student has been unable to earn the given credits, because there are not enough available subjects, due to his/her over-performance in previous years compared to the model curriculum),
  • having completed, on a pro rata basis, at least 90% of all credits set out in the model curriculum at the given programme,
  • for each completed semesters, the arithmetic mean average of whose grades obtained in the previous two consecutive, completed active semesters, weighted with the credits, is at least 4.00, and who have performed scientific or professional activities in the last two active semesters,
  • undertaking to personally appear at the Excellence Awarding Conference organised by NBH (attendance or absence may be taken into account by the University at the evaluation of the next year's applications).
  • having completed and submitted, along with their application, the NBH’s privacy statement.

 

Method of submitting applications: online, via the Modulo system, by filling in the NBH Scholarship of Excellence application form and uploading all documents certifying any scientific, professional, or public activities.

Amount of the grant: HUF 50,000/month/person

Support period: 10 months (September 2021 to June 2022)
