Short summary | " This course offers the opportunity to the students to obtain a vision of the science and empirical applications of how people and groups behave at work. The course develops its theoretical knowledge and research skills used in business and organizational psychology. Module 1 (Application of behavioural science at work: psychological assessment).Historical milestones of behavioural sciences at the workplace (1876 – today)Psychological approaches: behavioural and cognitive.Anthropological approaches: cultural and biological.Sociological approaches: symbolic interactionism and constructionism.Application of psychological theories to business scenarios (Marketing and Human Resources Management). Module 2. (Well-being at work, Organizational Change and Development).Importance of work in the life of individuals.The concept of ¨good work¨Social interaction and cohesion.Climate and culture.Types of organizational change.Socialization and the concept of person-organization.
