Short summary | " Why is it that large companies with an entire department of planners and analysts cannot guarantee success for strategies? What other factors influence the success of a strategy? There are a lot of misconceptions about what strategy is and how it is formulated and implemented. Based on the international bestseller, Strategy Safari, by leading management thinker, Henry Mintzberg, this course offers the opportunity for students to gain an understanding of how strategy is about far more than planning, and through considering other aspects that can and do affects the strategy of businesses, large and small, in the modern world, students will understand why strategies fail and what needs to be taken into account, to ensure greater chances of success.
